এতদ্বারা নেদারল্যান্ডস, ক্রোয়েশিয়া এবং বসনিয়া ও হার্জেগোভিনাতে, বসবাসরত সকল প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশি নাগরিকদের অত্যন্ত আনন্দের সহিত জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, বাংলাদেশের আসন্ন ত্রয়োদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনে প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিদের ভোটাধিকার নিশ্চিত করার লক্ষ্যে প্রথমবারের মত বাংলাদেশ নির্বাচন কমিশন (ইসি) গত ১৮ নভেম্বর ২০২৫ তারিখে 'পোস্টাল ভোট বিডি (Postal Vote BD)' অ্যাপ উন্মুক্ত করেছে। এই অ্যাপে নিবন্ধিত প্রবাসী ভোটারবৃন্দ পোস্টাল ব্যালটের মাধ্যমে আসন্ন জাতীয় নির্বাচনে তাদের ভোটাধিকার প্রয়োগ করতে পারবেন।

নির্বাচন কমিশন কর্তৃক নির্ধারিত সময়সূচি অনুযায়ী বিভিন্ন দেশে বসবাসরত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিগণ Postal Vote BD অ্যাপে নিবন্ধন প্রক্রিয়া সম্পাদন করতে পারবেন। প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিগণ 'গুগল প্লে স্টোর' অথবা 'অ্যাপল অ্যাপ স্টোর'- এ গিয়ে Postal Vote BD লিখে সার্চ করে অ্যাপটি ডাউনলোড করতে পারবেন। নিবন্ধন সংক্রান্ত প্রয়োজনীয় নির্দেশনা জানতে বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, দি হেগ, নেদারল্যান্ডস-এর ওয়েবসাইট, ফেইসবুক পেইজ, নির্বাচন কমিশনের ওয়েবসাইটসহ নিম্মলিখিত সোস্যাল মিডিয়া প্লাটফর্মে নজর রাখুন।

এ প্রেক্ষিতে নেদারল্যান্ডস, ক্রোয়েশিয়া এবং বসনিয়া ও হার্জেগোভিনাতে বসবাসরত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশি নাগরিকদের আগামী ২৫ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫ পর্যন্ত (বাংলাদেশ সময়) সময়সীমার মধ্যে নিবন্ধন সম্পন্ন করার জন্য দূতাবাস আন্তরিকভাবে অনুরোধ জানাচ্ছে।

Shuveccha / শুভেচ্ছা is an internet-based application designed especially for Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) — overseas citizens of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The App offers secure access to services, communication supported, managed and governed by the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). ‍The App is designed exclusively for NRBs and not accessible for Resident Bangladeshi nationals.

H. E. Ms. Pascalle Grotenhuis, the Dutch Vice-Minister for International Cooperation, called on the Hon'ble Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, on 18 November 2025 at the State Guest House Jamuna in the capital, Dhaka. During the meeting, they discussed expanding cooperation in a range of areas, including agriculture, trade and investment, technology, youth development, and the potential of a social business fund for young and women entrepreneurs.

The 6th Foreign Office Consultations between Bangladesh and the Netherlands were held on 16 October 2025 in The Hague. Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam and Christiaan Rebergen, Secretary-General of Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs led their respective delegations to the consultations.
