- If the applicant is a child (under the age of 15), both parents’ photos [size: 30X25 mm]. [In certain cases (e.g. if parents are separated/either parent is not alive) either of the parent’s photos will be accepted]
Copy of valid Student enrolment copy and ID card for availing student discount. Applicable only for the regular students with valid enrolment and student ID card.
Three copies of passport-size photos [size: 55X45 mm].
If the applicant is a child/minor, both parents’ passport copies and photos [size: 35X45 mm] are required.

Important Notice for Passport Collection:
– To collect the new issued passport, original previous MRP is mandatory to bring. Without the previous passport, new passport will not be delivered.
– If the previous passport does not contain any valid visa, it will be punched during the delivery of the new passport.
– An authorization letter mentioning the authorized person’s details including copy of his passport is mandatory to collect the passport by any other person. To collect the passport of a family member, such as husband, wife, parents, children; an authorization letter is also required.
– To collect the passport of a minor child, authorization letters from both parents are required. If one parent wants to collect the passport, the other parent’s authorization letter is required.
– During the collection of the passport, signatures on the copies of the new and previous passports are required.

- Processing for the Passport by DIP, Dhaka.
Remarks:
- The Mission transmits all Info & Documents in real time to the DIP, Dhaka. After due verification by the concerned authorities, MRP is being printed & sent to the Embassy for delivery.
- Note: It takes an average of two months before the passport reaches the embassy for delivery. In a few instances, additional time may be required.
- Delivery of Passport
- The Consular Section of the Embassy will contact the applicant once the passport arrives.
- The applicant himself/herself or his/her authorized person (in that case, an authorization letter & authorized person’s ID are required) along with the previous Bangladeshi Passport(s) & delivery slip needs to come to the Embassy to collect the Passport.

- Applicant should apply manually by filling up the Reissue/correction form and submitting the same to the Embassy. A prior appointment is necessary for submitting the form.
