The Embassy received a group of students from Universiteit Leiden / Leiden University at the Embassy today. Ambassador Tareque Muhammad reflected Bangladesh’s position on global issues. As students were interested, he explained the Rohingya issue and the way forward. He also underlined why the international community should enhance their support on this issue. The ambassador also reflected on climate change and migration issues. He also shared how Bangladesh defines itself as a secular and pluralist country.
